Interlaced Boundaries.

Chain Brogue is a new technique in which the perforated brogue ornamentation used in leather shoes is interlaced into chain-like forms. The world is full of distinctions and boundaries, and people often find a kind of beauty in crossing them—where differences begin to merge. By translating into fashion the way distinct roles and elements dissolve into one another like a coastline, this work aims for a borderless presence that loosens divisions of era, status, gender, and other categories.

Chain brogue
